C10 / GEN 1

Lower cement content mixes (lean-mix) that have a wide variety of uses. Most commonly they are used for trench fill and unreinforced strip footing foundations.

Ideal for: Foundations for steps, trench fill, floor blinding & drainage works.

C15 /ST1

More lean-mixes which are ideal for kerb backing or slab work. These are more often used as dry mixes which lend them selves well to these uses.

Ideal for: Foundations for small walls, sheds & conservatories. Paving for steps and paths.

C20 / GEN 3

GEN3 has a higher cement content then GEN1 so it is ideal for use when pouring a foundation using a pump, the higher cement content means it can take the higher water content without compromising the integrity of the mix. Also it can be used for path ways and shed bases.

Ideal for: Foundations for large walls, garages, houses & extensions. Paving for patios. Reinforced bases & oversites for conservatories, garages, sheds, greenhouses.

C25 / ST 2

These have a very broad range of uses, can be used for kerbing and manhole cover surrounds as well as footings and foundations.

Ideal for: Foundations and reinforced bases for houses & extensions. Trench fill, kerbing & patios.

C30 / PAV1 / ST 3

These are more structure mixes which are more durable. PAV1 is an air entrained mix which makes it a suitable mix for domestic parking and house driveways as the process creates tiny air bubbles that help prevent damage from frost.

Ideal for: Paving external kennels and reinforced hard standings. Reinforced bases for workshops and unreinforced bases for houses & extensions.

C35 / PAV2

These are suitable for more heavy duty external uses such as pavements, drive ways and car parks where more heavy-duty vehicles with rubber tyres will be using it. PAV2 is also air entrained which helps prevent damage from frost.

Ideal for: Reinforced bases for commercial buildings and agricultural light storage areas.

C40

This is a high strength mix that is very hard wearing. Most often it is used for foundations and beams for support and also for roads. It is also widely used on farming and agricultural environments due to its high strength.

Ideal for: Foundations for septic tanks, paving HGV parks and agricultural yards.

FND2

FND2 is a sulphate resistant concrete, for when you have sulphate soils or are laying on clay. It's also used widely in equestrian environments due to its sulphate resistance.

Ideal for: use for foundations including reinforced bases.

P400 - Self-Levelling Ready Mixed Concrete

Benefits include high workability, increased strength, reduced setting time, self compacting concrete and reduced equipment wear.

Floor Screed

A screed mix is relatively strong, using one part cement to three parts sharp sand, and when done well it gives a smooth and level floor on which to lay your chosen floor finish. A screed is also the preferred medium when laying under floor heating pipes. We can also add fibres to any mix to reinforce the concrete.
